Kids' Kamp 2007
The 2007 Kids' Kamp was another very fun camp! The theme this year was "Wild About His Love."
On Tuesday, the boys had a mud war following the mudslide, played sports, created our race car design, and worked on our pantomime. We also started our missionary story.
On Wednesday, the boys helped Dr. Scoles line rocks on the new meditation trail. The teens from Rockbridge Church of God (Holiness) led the activities Wednesday night, which included jumping hay bales, jumping rope, running over inner tubes, and bobbing for apples.
Thursday, the boys continued lining the rocks on the meditation trail, and we completed our cars. Both girls and boys did the dunking tank during their water activities. That is always a blast! That night, the boys went on a hike with Travis Sayler. We went on a path that led from the Katy Trail to a campsite that Travis had made.
Friday, the pantomime presentations took place, along with the car racing. The cooks made very good meals all week, and Greg and Sharon Wright, along with all the counselors, made Kids' Kamp 2007 another very enjoyable and spiritual week!
